My Story
Hello, I’m Melissa! I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember. I started out around nine years ago with portrait photography as a hobby; and slowly worked myself up to where I am now. Around five years ago; I was lucky enough to go freelance specialising in interiors and property photography and what a journey it has been so far! I am originally from a little village called Silverdale in Lancashire, but now live and operate my business in the South Lakes and throughout Cumbria.
You may find the style of my work slightly different to some others photographers as I’ve always tried to portray natural and traditional styles in my work which you can see in my full portfolio here. If you’d like to book a shoot then please don’t hesitate to get in touch, even just to say hello! I’m based on the southern border of the Lake District but work all around the North West.

Melissa’s photographs of our holiday let in Windermere have brought the place to life. Every room was captured perfectly with a range of angles and everything perfectly staged.
